ABOUT CLEANEDGE 2.0
Clean tech includes a broad range of technologies related to recycling, renewable energy, information technology, green transportation, green chemistry and more. The next edition of CleanEdge Accelerator Program – CleanEdge 2.0 is to be launched soon. This will blend features of open innovation and design thinking to focus on “entrepreneurial problem solving” and creating a “micro and focused ecosystem” for solving sustainability issues in the plastic and water space.
To support Startups and harness innovations in above areas, CleanEdge Accelerator Program working for startups in the area of Environment Sustainability, Waste Management & Renewables. CleanEdge is designed to help young businesses scale up quickly and is backed by large global companies, technical experts, and marquee investors.
CleanEdge is a joint initiative supported by a) Department of Science & Technology(Government of India) under its umbrella NIDHI (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations) scheme b) Polyplex Corporation Limited c) Shriram Institute for Industrial Research and d) Aspirelabs Accelerator.

Selected start-ups would get an opportunity to pitch for an investment of up to INR 25 lakhs and 4 months acceleration support under this sustainability startup accelerator program with support of Shriram Institute for Industrial Research – Technology Business Incubator (SRI-TBI) and Polyplex Corporation Limited.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
- Startups working in Clean technology but not limited to:
- Multi Layer Pastic Recycling
- Water Management
- Environment Sustainability
- Startups with minimum viable product (MVP) or Early stage start-ups with some customer traction / validation and revenue generation.
- Start-ups having direct or indirect impact on Triple bottom line:
- Social
- Financial
- Environmental

- Evaluation of Startups and selection of 15 Startups for the Acceleration Program.
- Selected Startups would undergo a four month Accelerator Program.
