Mr. Ranjit has experience in Industrial Management in Indian, International and Multicultural business environment of over 30 years. His key strengths include Corporate Growth and Turnaround Strategy and its implementation. He worked as Managing Director, Kalpataru Power Transmission(an Infrastructure Company) and Global COO & Board member of Polyplex Corporation Limited (4th Largest Polyester Film manufacturer in the world). Mr Ranjit is based out in Delhi and is deeply involved in the Start-up ecosystem and Strategy advisory space.
Sophie van den Berg
International Solid Waste Expert and Plastic Recycling Business Adviser for Africa, Asia, Latin America at WASTE (www.waste.nl), The Netherlands
Sophie van den Berg, an MSc in Environmental Science, is a chemical engineer. She has more than 25 years of international experience in assessment of solid waste management systems, economic and environmental viability analysis of resource recovery systems, and marketing studies for recyclables. In private sector development, she expertise in the following: implementation, financing, and coordination of productive micro-projects in solid waste management, including training and coaching for income-generating activities aimed at SMEs. To grow plastic recycling companies, that generate social and environmental impact in Africa and Asia, is what she is passionate about. Identifying early-stage impact businesses, supporting them to be viable for scale and investment-ready and matching them with investment funds, is her key ability.
Purnendu Kumar Chaubey

Mr. Purnendu Kumar Chaubey is currently a leader of the Business Development and Grid affairs for SB Energy Private Limited (a Softbank Group Company). With professional experience of over 24 years in the field of Sales, Strategic Business Development, Design, Business Process Re-engineering, Policy Advocacy, Project Management, Marketing and Consultancy, he brings vast network along with hand-on experience as a mentor. He has broad experience both in the public and private sector. He is a graduate from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines.
Arjun Sinha Roy
A graduate of BITS Pilani, Mr. Arjun has more than 19 years of work experience in the Information Technology, Communication and Telecommunication domain. He has experience in large scale Transformation projects in the across companies like TCS, Comviva and OnMobile. He is known to start one of the first IoT start-ups in India and has worked at multiple start-ups and built one of the first Media-Tech companies in the OOH sector. He has been working on the implementation of Deep Analytics and Predictive Modelling in the Cleantech Sector.

Mohan Krishnan has over twenty-five years of experience in the research and consulting industry. His area of expertise spans diverse sectors in the area of technology and marketing issues. He has advised private and public sector companies, associations, and forums in industries such as Consumer goods, ICT, Energy, Environment, Logistics, Steel, Automotive and financial services markets. Mohan has contributed several articles and research papers on a wide range of subjects. He is also a regular speaker and a visiting faculty at IIT Bombay, TERI University and IIFT Delhi & Kolkata.

Dr Chariar’s current work integrates the principles of sustainable design with the traditional knowledge available with the indigenous communities. He has worked with the Ministry of Rural Development to launch the Rural Housing Knowledge Network. In the field of Ecological Sanitation, he is one of the co-inventors of Zerodor, a waterless urinal solution being used by more than 200 organizations in India and Africa.

Mr. Rakesh is CEO at India Glycols Limited (IGL) since August 2009, an Rs.3500 Crores (Approx $550mn) company having the distinction of being the largest Company in the world producing a wide variety of Green Specialty Chemicals from Molasses and Ethanol. Mr Bhartia, before joining IGL, was CEO of Bajaj Hindustan Ltd., India’s largest manufacturer of sugar and ethanol. Mr Rakesh Bhartia is also the Immediate Past President of Indian Chemical Council (ICC), the national apex body representing all branches of the Chemical Industry in India. By qualification, he is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant. Hence, he has wide exposure to investment banking, corporate finance and commercial banking-related activities.

Mr. Vijay co-founded the FINISH program in 2009 with Dutch Government assistance and has since been a member of its Program Management Board. His areas of interest include rural development with an emphasis on Sustainability, Public-Private Partnerships and Financial Inclusion. Mr. Vijay holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (LOMA – USA) as well as an Associate in Customer Service.

Mr. Prajakt is an entrepreneur, mentor and entrepreneurship evangelist. He aims to encourage and assist 100,000 people in becoming entrepreneurs. He blogs on “The Hub for Start-ups” and via Applyifi.com helps start-ups get actionable insights and inputs on their business plans. Mr. Prajakt has spent over ten years in the advertising industry with agencies like Grey, Capital and DMB&B. Previously, he was the Asia Director of TiE. He also co-founded Orange Cross, a healthcare services company. Prajakt was head of operations of the Indian Angel Network, one of the largest angel investor groups in the world.

Santosh Desai is a columnist, media critic and the author. In his professional life, Santosh is the MD & CEO of Futurebrands, a brand and consumer consultancy company. Previously he headed an advertising agency. Mr. Santosh’s principal area of interest lies in examining the evolving nature of consumer culture in India. Furthermore, he is a thought leader in understanding the relationship between religion and brands and the consumer as a product of his or her cultural context. He is also the author of ‘City City Bang Bang’, a weekly column in The Times of India
