Clean tech refers to a process, product, or service that promotes environmental sustainability through significant energy efficiency improvements, sustainable use of resources or environmental protection activities. Clean tech includes a broad range of technologies related to recycling, renewable energy, information technology, green transportation, green chemistry and more.
To support Startups and harness innovations in above areas, we are launching CleanEdge Accelerator Program – a startup accelerator program in the area of Environment Sustainability, Waste Management & Renewables. CleanEdge is designed to help young businesses scale up quickly and is backed by large global companies, technical experts, and marquee investors.
CleanEdge is a joint initiative supported by a) Department of Science & Technology(Government of India) under its umbrella NIDHI (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations) scheme b) Polyplex Corporation Limited c) Shriram Institute for Industrial Research and d) Aspirelabs Accelerator.

Selected start-ups would get an opportunity to pitch for an investment of up to INR 25 lakhs and 4 months acceleration support under this sustainability startup accelerator program with support of Shriram Institute for Industrial Research – Technology Business Incubator (SRI-TBI) and Polyplex Corporation Limited.

- Startups with minimum viable product (MVP) or Early stage start-ups with some customer traction / validation and revenue generation.
